Prudence Pitter is a CHRO, Global Keynote Speaker, Board Member, and experienced business executive with over two and a half decades of progressive Human Resource leadership experience across several industries. She has worked extensively with Boards of Directors, leadership teams, and various business leaders in optimizing the culture, morale and productivity of their workforces. In addition, she has successfully and personally managed mergers and acquisitions, openings and closings, union negotiations, building and relocating corporate headquarters operations, associate communications, public and community relations as well as building and restructuring HR teams.

Mrs. Pitter is currently Head of Global HR supporting multiple businesses within Amazon Web Services. These businesses operate in 20+ countries, and provide cloud services to some of the most well-known brands in the world. In this role she has responsibility for working directly with senior leaders on aligning business priorities with people processes, scaling processes across geos, and developing strategies to boost overall talent engagement and development.

Prudence previously served as Adjunct Professor of Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior & Leadership for the City University of New York.  Also, in the past she has founded her own Human Resources Consulting practice, focusing on the needs of small to mid-sized organizations.

She is currently a Board Member, volunteers her time to help junior HR professionals, and help parents at her elementary school, prepare for back to school each year.

Her passion is delivering leadership development presentations to business leaders, inspiring alignment of people practices to business priorities while keeping employee wellbeing as a key focus. Prudence enjoys writing about HR trends, and influencing leadership behaviors that enhance the employee experience. She holds BS & MBA degrees, and the two highest HR Certifications; GPHR and SPHR.
